JOB TITLE: Carpenter

LOCATION: Jabal-Ali, Dubai

SALARY: 1300 AED/Month

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Jabal-Ali, Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of high-quality furniture and other wood items. The ideal applicant should have at least 3 years of experience in carpentry as well as excellent knowledge of woodworking tools. We are open to considering a foreigner for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
- Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements
- Assemble cut and shaped materials and fasten them together with nails, screws, staples or adhesives
- Construct building frameworks including walls, floors and doorframes
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, door frames, baseboards, trim etc.
- Follow established safety rules and regulations in the workplace
- Ensure all projects are completed within a timely manner while maintaining quality standards

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience
- Working knowledge of woodworking tools (e.g. saws) and equipment (e.g. drills)
- Ability to read technical documents such as blueprints or drawings
- Understanding of basic math concepts (e.g., angles for cutting)
- Good physical strength with the ability to lift heavy objects
