Dental Assistant job vacancy in Doha Qatar


We are seeking an experienced and professional Dental Assistant to join our clinic in Doha. This position offers a competitive salary of 1300 and we are open to considering a foreign candidate.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide assistance to the dentist while they perform dental procedures, as well as ensure the patient's comfort. They should have excellent communication and customer service skills, as they will be responsible for interacting with patients and providing them with information about the clinic's services. Furthermore, they must be able to maintain and organize medical records in an orderly fashion.

Primary responsibilities include preparing the patient for the dental procedure by taking vital signs, positioning them in the chair, preparing instruments, and selecting materials; assisting the dentist during dental treatments by handing instruments and materials; taking x-rays and making impressions; disinfecting and sterilizing instruments; applying topical anesthetics; giving instructions for brushing and flossing teeth; scheduling follow-up visits; maintaining accurate patient records; answering phone inquiries; providing patients with information on dental services; collecting payments from patients.

The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent qualification as well as certification in Dental Assisting from an accredited program. Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not required. Additionally, knowledge of basic medical terminology, computer systems, patient safety protocols, infection control practices is desirable but not essential.
