Psychiatrist job vacancy in Doha Qatar


We are looking for a Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a diverse medical environment, apply their extensive knowledge and expertise to help patients in need.

The successful applicant must possess a Doctor of Medicine degree, or equivalent experience, and be licensed to practice as a Psychiatrist in Qatar. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the field and/or specialized training. Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply.

The role of the Psychiatrist will involve assessing patients through diagnosis, treatment planning and follow-up care; evaluating patient needs and developing treatment plans; providing medication management; conducting therapy sessions on an individual basis or within groups; providing information about available services; managing medical records; communicating with other healthcare professionals as needed; and improving patient outcomes.

The successful Psychiatrist must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as empathy for patients’ feelings and situations. They should also have an understanding of relevant laws, regulations and ethical standards governing the practice of psychiatry in Qatar.
