Job Title: Accountant
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Salary: 1500 AED/month
Position Type: Full-time

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Accountant to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our business.

Responsibilities include:
• Preparing financial statements such as profit & loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Tracking accounts receivable/payable and ensuring timely collection/payment.
• Reconciling bank statements, credit card statements and other financial documents.
• Analyzing financial data to identify discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
• Developing annual budgets, monitoring expenses and analyzing variances to budget.
• Assisting with internal and external audits as necessary.
• Assisting with payroll processing when required.
• Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in a similar role (preferred).
• Strong knowledge in accounting principles and practices including GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Computer literate with proficiency in accounting software (Quickbooks preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language (Arabic proficiency is preferred).
