Truck driver job vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE


We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver for a full-time position based in Abu-Dhabi. This position is offering a salary of 1600 AED per month.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy trucks to transport goods and materials within the city, following all safety regulations. The ideal candidate must have a valid UAE license and 3 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare vehicle for trips by inspecting vehicle and loading cargo; recording any deficiencies; obtaining or scheduling required repairs or maintenance; verifying that cargo meets all applicable legal requirements; following company procedures for tracking shipment information.
• Drive trucks to and from destinations, following all traffic laws, on time schedules, staying within speed limits and taking into account road/weather conditions.
• Maintain records of trips, including logs, mileage, delivery receipts, fuel consumption data, hours worked and other expenses as required.
• Load and unload goods as assigned.
• Communicate with dispatch officers to receive delivery instructions when necessary.
• Maintain truck in clean condition at all times by keeping it free from trash and debris.

Requirements:
• Valid UAE driving license with 3 years of experience in the field
• Ability to drive long distances safely with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of local roads and highways
• Good physical fitness
• Basic understanding of English
