Waiter job vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE for unskilled worker


We are currently looking for an experienced Waiter to join our team in Abu-Dhabi.

The successful applicant should have an excellent record of customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage services. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be proficient in the use of POS systems.

Responsibilities include:
• Welcoming guests, taking orders and serving food & beverage items according to standards
• Responding to customer inquiries, complaints and feedback
• Ensuring that all areas of the restaurant are kept clean and tidy
• Acting as a cashier when required
• Performing general administrative duties
• Upselling food & beverage items when appropriate.

Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in a 5-star hotel/restaurant)
• Knowledgeable about wine/alcohol/cocktails is preferred but not required
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in English is essential; any other language is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of operating POS systems.
