Job Description

The trailer driver will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently. Tasks include pre-inspecting the trailer before each trip, loading and unloading goods, providing proof of delivery documents and reporting any maintenance needs. The driver must also comply with all local traffic regulations, company policies and safety standards.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess a valid driver’s license along with the necessary driving qualifications. They should also have excellent customer service skills, good problem solving ability and strong communication skills. Previous experience in long-haul freight transportation is desirable.
