Optometrist Position - Umm-al-Qaiwain

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive eye exams and providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams, including visual acuity, refraction, tonometry, and ocular health assessments
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient records
• Provide guidance and advice on eyewear selection
• Provide patient education on contact lenses, eyeglasses and other vision aids
• Educate patients about eye health and vision care options
• Consult with other medical staff to ensure proper care for patients
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or equivalent from an accredited school of optometry
• Must be licensed to practice optometry in the UAE or willing to obtain license upon hire (for foreigners)
• Experience as an Optometrist is preferred but not required
