Cashier job vacancy in Dubai UAE for unskilled workers


Job Title: Cashier – Dubai

Salary: 1500 AED/month

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Cashier to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must be willing to work in a fast paced environment, have excellent customer service skills and able to multi task. We are willing to consider applicants from all backgrounds, including those who are immigrants.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, accurately process their purchases using the cash register, and answer their questions in a friendly and professional manner.
• Handle transactions quickly and accurately while following all relevant procedures such as verifying credit/debit cards, obtaining necessary approvals, entering discounts/coupons, etc.
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits; issue receipts or change due.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and there is adequate change.
• Keep track of customer orders and provide accurate billing information.
• Ensure that all customer complaints are documented, reported and resolved in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of the checkout area by cleaning registers, equipment and countertops regularly.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred
• Previous experience working as a cashier or in similar position is an advantage
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays
