Job Description

As our Trailer driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and securely in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures. You will be required to inspect the trailer before each journey, take into account any relevant traffic laws, load and unload goods as required, drive safely at all times and keep up to date with any changes in legislation or regulation.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that all paperwork is accurate, keeping an updated log book of journeys made and ensuring that all necessary documents are completed correctly. You will need to communicate effectively with customers and other staff members, as well as being able to work independently when needed.
