Position: Accountant
Location: Abu-Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Accountant to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks including accounts receivable/payable, budgeting, financial reporting, and taxation. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field, as well as at least 3 years of experience in an accounting role. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required, and experience in using accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate should also possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work well independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable/payable ledgers
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
• Monitor budget performance and report on variances
• Prepare tax returns and ensure accuracy of all financial information submitted to authorities
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Identify areas for improvement in internal processes
• Provide guidance on cost control and cash flow optimization

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field
• At least 3 years of experience in an accounting role
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
• Experience using accounting software preferred but not essential
• Excellent problem-solving skills
