Librarian Job in Abu Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This position offers a salary of AED 1400 and we are willing to consider foreign applicants. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing library services, including cataloging, shelving, circulation, and reference services.

Job Responsibilities:

The librarian will be expected to manage the daily operations of the library, which includes supervising staff and volunteers. They will also be responsible for training and mentoring library personnel, cataloging materials, maintaining the library’s collection of books, periodicals, audio-visual materials, computer resources and other materials. Additionally, they will be expected to provide reference services by answering questions and suggesting appropriate resources.
