Job Summary

Welders are responsible for welding metal parts together using various welding techniques such as arc welding, gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and flux-cored arc welding (FCAW). The Welder must have excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently or with a team of other welders. They must have strong problem-solving skills, be able to read blueprints and diagrams, and have excellent manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Welder include: setting up welding equipment; reading blueprints or diagrams; preparing materials for welding; selecting correct type of filler metals; ensuring quality of welds; making modifications when needed; cleaning the work area upon completion; and adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements
