Welder job vacancy in Doha Qatar


We are currently seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out welding tasks on a day-to-day basis, which may include repair, fabrication and maintenance of products and structures.

The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in welding and be able to work with a variety of metals and alloys. They should also possess the ability to read blueprints and diagrams to produce accurate welds.

Responsibilities:
• Read technical drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
• Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness
• Prepare materials for welding by grinding, cutting and prepping surfaces
• Follow safety guidelines when using dangerous equipment
• Maintain work area cleanliness
• Establish best practices for quality control standards


Qualifications:
• Proven experience as welder (2+ years)
• Knowledge of different kinds of metals and alloys (including aluminum, iron, steel etc.)
• Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams
• Understanding of welding techniques, tools, equipment, safety precautions etc.
• Ability to work with precision tools (e.g. jigsaws)
