Electrician - Doha, Qatar

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance. The salary for this position is 1100 QAR per month. We are willing to consider applications from immigrants.

Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and components, including wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, light fixtures and more.
• Ensure that all work is done with safety protocols in mind, following industry codes and standards.
• Diagnose electrical problems using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems to determine the cause of the problem.
• Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine how to install or repair systems.
• Assemble control panels or wiring harnesses onsite or in the shop.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities on electrical systems or components such as checking batteries or fuses.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance preferred.
• Valid Electrical License where required by local laws/regulations preferred but not necessary for consideration.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to working with electricity required.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills needed to diagnose malfunctions quickly and accurately.
