Job Title: Dental Assistant

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing dental assistance to our dentists and ensuring that all procedures are carried out efficiently and safely. This is an excellent opportunity for a Foreigner to join a highly respected practice.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare patients for dental treatment, take dental radiographs (x-rays) and assist the dentist in the provision of treatment
• Maintain instruments, equipment and materials used in the provision of dental care
• Ensure that infection control protocols are followed
• Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene, nutrition and preventive dentistry
• File patient information, update patient records as required
• Follow safety procedures and policies when handling hazardous materials
• Assist with ordering supplies, maintaining inventory control systems and stocking shelves

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent with prior experience as a Dental Assistant or training from an accredited school is preferred.
• Effective communication skills with a high degree of professionalism.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of basic dental terminology, instruments and equipment.
