Sommelier Vacancy in Dubai

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Sommelier for a vacancy in Dubai. The position is full-time and offers a competitive salary of 1000 per month. We are open to considering candidates who may be immigrants to the city.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high quality sommelier service to all customers, including recommending appropriate wines and other beverages to accompany meals. They will also oversee the inventory and ordering of wine and other alcoholic beverages, as well as the storage, rotation, and temperature control of these items. Additionally, they will provide training to wait staff on product knowledge and service standards.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience as a sommelier in a restaurant or hotel environment. They should also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A WSET Level 3 or higher certification is required, while knowledge of beer and spirits would be an advantage.
