Job Title: Sommelier
Location: Dubai
Salary: 1400 AED

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate should have an excellent sense of taste and be an expert in the field of wine. In addition, you should be able to provide excellent customer service to our guests and maintain a large selection of wines for them to choose from.

Responsibilities:
• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the different wines, their flavors, aromas, and styles.
• Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure availability of wines in the inventory.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for all wines served in the restaurant.
• Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction with their experience.
• Keep up-to-date on current industry trends and new product releases.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience as a Sommelier or similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
• An extensive knowledge of different types of wines and their characteristics is essential for this role.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are necessary when interacting with guests from various countries/cultures.
• Ability to work independently while remaining part of a team environment is important in this role.
• Ability to stand long hours while performing duties is necessary.
