Job Title: Instrument Technician

We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all instrumentation and control systems.

Responsibilities include:
• Installing, calibrating, and repairing process instrumentation and associated control systems.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to equipment malfunctions.
• Conducting routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Writing work orders, updating records, and creating reports as needed.
• Responding to emergency situations when necessary.
• Adhering to safety regulations when handling hazardous materials and working with potentially dangerous equipment.
• Communicating with management and other technicians regarding project progress.

Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent; Technical school certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working as an Instrument Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, diagrams, specifications and other technical documents related to instrumentation systems.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices and procedures as well as electrical codes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills; Detail-oriented; Organized; Good communication skills; Ability to work independently or in a team environment; Strong work ethic; Flexibility with hours if needed for operational needs; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary for the job duties listed above.
