Librarian Job in Abu-Dhabi

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the librarian will be to maintain an organized collection of books and other media, as well as providing reference services to library patrons. The librarian will also be responsible for managing the library's budget, organizing events, promoting library services and programs, training staff, and supervising volunteers.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Library Science or Information Studies, or equivalent experience. They should have excellent customer service skills and be knowledgeable about literature and current trends in library technology. The successful applicant should also have strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and be comfortable working with computers.
