Optometrist – Doha, Qatar

We are searching for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services for patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have excellent diagnostic skills and a passion for the field of optometry.

Responsibilities:
• Carry out comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose vision problems and ocular diseases
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other corrective devices to improve visual acuity
• Give advice on lifestyle modifications to prevent vision loss
• Educate patients on eye health topics and promote preventive care
• Refer patients to specialized medical practitioners when necessary
• Maintain detailed records of patient diagnoses and treatments
• Ensure compliance with professional regulations and standards

Requirements:
• Degree in optometry from an accredited university or college
• Minimum two years’ experience as an Optometrist or similar role is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with patients

Salary: 1000 QAR per month (negotiable based on qualifications). We are willing to consider foreign candidates.
