We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Riyadh. This role will be responsible for planning, organizing and controlling the activities involved in the purchase, pricing, promotion and distribution of products. The Merchandiser will be responsible for developing marketing strategies that support the company’s sales objectives. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.

The duties of this role include:
• Developing product strategies and plans that promote product lines;
• Researching market trends and customer preferences to determine the best product mix;
• Negotiating with suppliers on price, discounts, delivery schedules, warranties and returns;
• Managing inventory levels by monitoring purchasing orders;
• Analyzing sales data to identify areas of opportunity;
• Creating promotional materials including point-of-sale displays;
• Overseeing merchandising staff activities;
• Providing customer service through product knowledge and problem resolution;
• Ensuring products are properly priced.
The successful candidate must have at least 5 years of experience as a Merchandiser, preferably in retail settings. They must demonstrate an understanding of retail principles (including category management) as well as knowledge of market trends in order to create effective merchandising plans. We offer a salary of 1000 per month for this position. We are also open to considering foreign applicants for this job.
