Librarian Job in Abu-Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating library services, organizing resources, and providing reference services. This position offers a salary of 1000 and we are also open to consider an immigrant.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage library resources


• Develop and maintain library collection of books, periodicals and other materials


• Identify and acquire resources in line with the library’s mission


• Ensure accurate cataloging, classification, circulation and shelving of all materials


• Answer user inquiries regarding library services, resources and facilities


• Provide reference services to patrons by phone or email


• Manage the maintenance of computers in the library facility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field
  < li >At least 5 years' experience as a Librarian
  < li >Knowledge of cataloging protocols such as AACR2 or MARC21
  < li >Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
