Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified Librarian to join our library team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and be comfortable working with people of all ages.

This position offers a competitive salary of 1300 AED per month, with consideration for immigrants. We require minimal work experience for this role.

Responsibilities:
• Organize and maintain library collections
• Perform circulation duties such as lending books and other materials
• Provide reference services to patrons
• Provide assistance in locating books and other materials
• Assist patrons in using the library’s online catalog system
• Assist patrons in using computers and other library resources
• Develop and implement library policies and procedures
• Create displays to promote new or existing materials in the collection
• Prepare booklists for staff members and patrons
• Participate in outreach activities such as book clubs or author talks.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education/experience)
• Ability to remain organized while multitasking efficiently
• Good customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward patrons of all ages
