Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced Chef to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a passion for food and a proven record of successful experience in the restaurant industry. Experience working with exotic ingredients is desirable, as well as knowledge of international cuisine. This position offers a competitive salary of 1100 AED per month.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Chef will be responsible for creating new menu items, overseeing the kitchen staff and the daily operations, and ensuring that high quality standards are met at all times. He or she will be expected to create unique dishes that reflect the highest standards in international cuisine while maintaining consistent product quality. Other duties include ordering supplies, supervising food preparation and presentation, training kitchen staff, developing recipes, controlling costs, and meeting health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience working as a Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment. Knowledge of international cuisine is essential as well as knowledge of local ingredients. A university degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent is highly desired but not required. The candidate must also possess excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail and must be able to work independently under pressure.
