Accountant vacancy in Doha Qatar

Position: Accountant

We are looking for an experienced accountant to join our team in Doha. This position is a critical role in our organization and requires a person who is organized, reliable, and knowledgeable in all areas of accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, providing high-level financial guidance and support to the organization’s operations, and preparing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. They will also work with staff to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to accounting, budgeting, taxation, auditing, purchasing, contracting, etc. Additionally, they will provide assistance to management in areas such as financial planning, forecasting and budget analysis. The accountant will also be responsible for tax planning including filing returns on time.

Requirements

Applicants must have at least 3 years experience in an accounting role. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential. Familiarity with computerized accounting systems such as QuickBooks is also preferred. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong analytical skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary

This position offers a salary of 1200 QAR per month with room for growth depending on performance.

Immigration Status

We are willing to consider applicants who are able to obtain the appropriate visa status for staying in Qatar.
