Position: Sommelier
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: 1400 AED/month

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Sommelier to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of wine and its varieties, a passion for customer service and a strong work ethic. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to expand their experience and grow within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:
• Provide knowledgeable guidance to customers about the selection and purchase of wines and other alcoholic beverages
• Develop relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
• Suggest appropriate food-and-wine pairings according to customer preferences
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales, and customer orders
• Ensure that all alcoholic beverages are stored correctly, in accordance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures
• Train staff on the characteristics of different wines so they can better assist customers
• Handle customer complaints professionally and responsibly
• Participate in wine tastings when required

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)
• Previous experience as a Sommelier or in the hospitality industry (preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of wine varieties, styles, production methods, and alcohol laws
• Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with customers quickly
• Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask effectively
• Solid verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex topics clearly
