The ideal Welder will have an understanding of welding principles, techniques, and safety precautions, and be comfortable working with a variety of materials including steel and aluminum. The ability to interpret technical drawings accurately is essential, as is the capacity to perform extensive manual labor in a safe and efficient manner. Working knowledge of fabrication technologies such as gas welding is also advantageous.
