Job Description

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and managing construction projects such as highways, bridges, buildings and other large-scale infrastructure projects. The position requires an in-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Designing, developing and overseeing the construction of civil engineering projects.
• Analyzing survey reports, maps, drawings and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain characteristics and topographical details.
• Preparing building codes and standards required to ensure the safety of all structures.
• Ensuring that all projects comply with relevant local regulations.
• Writing reports outlining project specifications and cost estimates.
