Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. This position offers a salary of 1700 and we are willing to consider a foreigner for the role. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounting, bookkeeping or finance.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and records by examining, analysing and verifying financial information.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable activities including payments to suppliers and billings to customers.
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Maintain general ledgers by transferring amounts from journals to ledgers.
• Prepare monthly financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, trial balances and other reports.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements.
• Answer questions from internal stakeholders related to financial information and reports.
• Identify discrepancies in financial records or reports as well as rectifying errors when necessary.
• Develop long-term strategic plans for budget management activities such as forecasting revenue growth, cost control initiatives etc.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounting, bookkeeping or finance roles is required
• Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Excellent understanding of MS Office Suite & ERP systems such as QuickBooks/SAP/Oracle Financials etc
• Keen attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
