Job Title: Optometrist
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Salary: 1800 AED per month
Immigration Status: Willing to consider immigrants
Experience: 2+ years of optometry experience required

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Optometrist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing eye care services, including comprehensive eye exams and prescribing vision correction treatments. They will also provide consultation and advice on eyewear options.

The ideal candidate should have at least two years of experience in optometry and a thorough knowledge of eyeglass lens and frames as well as contact lenses. An understanding of ocular diseases, their diagnosis and management is also required. The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and a strong customer service focus.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams including refraction tests, visual acuity tests, color vision testing, depth perception tests, glaucoma testing and other related diagnostic procedures
• Make accurate diagnoses of vision problems and prescribe corrective lenses or treatments accordingly
• Assist patients with selecting frames for prescription glasses or contact lenses
• Provide consultation on eyewear options such as lens types and lens coatings
• Educate patients on proper care for contact lenses or glasses
• Document patient information including medical history, medications taken, visual acuity results etc.
