Librarian – Dubai

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Librarian to join our team in Dubai. You will be responsible for providing library services to students, faculty, and the wider public.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a library setting and a passion for helping people find the resources they need. You must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. You should also have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable using different technology platforms to facilitate library services.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain an up-to-date catalog of library resources
• Assist patrons with finding materials and accessing digital resources
• Provide reference services, including research assistance
• Teach classes on using library resources and technology platforms
• Process new materials into the library collection
• Create displays of new books, periodicals, magazines, etc.
• Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, etc.
• Assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• Experience working in a library setting preferred
• Excellent organizational skills
• Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills

Salary: 1400 AED/Month (We are ready to consider an immigrant)
