Merchandiser job vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE for foreigners


We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a degree in business/retail or related studies, and have a minimum of two years’ experience as a merchandiser, preferably within the retail sector.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing strategies to increase overall sales and margins for the company. This includes studying customer behaviour, creating product ranges, setting prices and stocking levels, ensuring products are correctly displayed and that all promotional activity is well planned and executed. You will also be responsible for monitoring stock levels to ensure that all products are available when needed, as well as negotiating with suppliers on pricing and discounts.

The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills with a good eye for detail along with strong organisational skills. An ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time is also essential. In addition you should be comfortable working as part of a team as well as independently, and have excellent problem-solving skills in order to identify solutions quickly.
