The ideal candidate must possess knowledge and experience in land surveying, mapping, geodesy, photogrammetry and other related areas. The successful applicant should also have great communication skills and be able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating maps and plans of land using surveying tools such as GPS systems, aerial photography, total station, theodolite etc.
• Keeping accurate records of survey measurements and ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date
• Collaborating with other departments such as engineering or planning when necessary
• Making sure that all safety guidelines are followed when working on site
• Preparing reports from the survey data collected
