Position: Land Surveyor – Riyadh

Salary: 1400

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are a leading civil engineering firm looking for a talented and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate must be able to measure, analyze, and map the terrain of the site in a precise and accurate manner.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent knowledge of survey techniques, surveying instruments, data gathering methods, map reading and interpretation. As well, they should be highly-skilled in using various computer programs for analysis and calculations. The candidate must also have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage their own workload.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting survey data using surveying instruments such as total stations and GPS.

• Analyzing survey data to calculate distances, angles and heights between points.

• Mapping terrain by plotting data points on maps and drawings.

• Generating topographical maps using specialized computer software.

• Ensuring all measurements are accurate within required parameters.

• Interpreting survey results for use in engineering projects

• Assisting engineers with land development projects such as road construction or flood control systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering

• At least 5 years of experience as a land surveyor

• Excellent knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment

• Proficient with various computer programs used for analysis and calculations

• Good written/verbal communication skills

• Ability to interpret maps accurately

• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
