Job Title: Librarian
Salary: 1500 AED
Location: Abu-Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. This position is open to both local and foreign candidates.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the library operations and activities, as well as providing expert advice on library services. They will have a deep understanding of library systems and procedures, as well as a good knowledge of research techniques. Additionally, they will be able to develop innovative solutions to increase the efficiency of the library functions.

Primary duties include managing the collection of books and other material, cataloguing items, updating digital records, organizing book displays and helping patrons with their research needs. They will also be expected to promote library services in order to encourage use of the resources available.

The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. They must also possess good problem-solving abilities, be highly organized and be able to work on multiple tasks at once. A degree in Library Science or related field is essential for this role. Previous experience in a similar position is desirable but not essential.
