The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: designing carpentry pieces based on customer specifications; constructing furniture such as cabinets, shelves, tables, chairs; installing laminate flooring; fitting doors; assembling furniture pieces; sanding surfaces; painting or staining woodwork; completing projects on time and within budget constraints.

To qualify for this position you must possess the following qualifications: experience with woodworking tools such as saws, drills, routers etc.; knowledge of different types of woods; ability to read blueprints or sketches; excellent problem solving skills; great attention to detail; excellent communication skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; physical strength and stamina required to lift heavy objects or perform repetitive tasks.
