Accountant vacancy in Al-Kuwait Kuwait


We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records and preparing financial statements such as monthly and annual accounts. The Accountant must have excellent knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and an understanding of the tax system in Kuwait.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in accounting or financial management, have excellent problem solving and communication skills, plus knowledge of using computerized accounting software. A good track record of working with customers and colleagues is also important.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop budgets, maintain accounts receivable/payable, prepare payrolls, develop timely financial statements and reports, reconcile bank accounts, analyze trends in revenues/expenses/cash flow and identify areas needing cost reduction or improvement. The Accountant will also be required to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and contractual agreements.
