Needs for the Candidate:
We are looking for a qualified Optometrist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate must have a degree in Optometry from an accredited institution, together with at least five years of relevant experience. We are willing to consider an immigrant for this role.

Responsibilities:
The Optometrist’s primary responsibility is to provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision examinations, contact lens fittings, and pre- and post-operative care. The Optometrist will also be responsible for diagnosing and treating eye diseases and disorders; prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses; referring patients to other health professionals when necessary; providing patient education; and maintaining accurate records of patient medical histories.

Expected Qualifications:
• Degree in Optometry from an accredited institution
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of ophthalmic terminology and diagnosis codes
• Expertise in the use of optical equipment including slit lamps, lensometers, phoropters, etc.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
