Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to work in our clinic located in Abu-Dhabi. We are offering a competitive salary of 1000. Immigrant candidates are welcome to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Optometrist will provide specialized care and expertise in the diagnosis, management, treatment, and prevention of vision and ocular health related problems. Duties will include conducting eye examinations, prescribing glasses or contact lenses, diagnosing eye diseases such as glaucoma or diabetic retinopathy, and giving advice on visual hygiene. The Optometrist will also need to stay up-to-date with advances in the field of optometry by attending conferences and courses.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Optometry from an accredited university or college. A minimum of three years’ experience working as an optometrist is preferred but not essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing patient centric care. Excellent organizational skills and knowledge of current optometric technology is also desired for this position.
