Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys, measuring land boundaries, collecting data from sites, analyzing survey results, preparing maps and diagrams, as well as assisting with site inspections. The Surveyor will also be required to review existing documents such as legal documents, title deeds, maps etc., to ensure accuracy. The role entails significant responsibility so the successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in surveying positions
- Strong knowledge of relevant software and mapping systems such as AutoCAD, GIS etc.
- Ability to interpret plans and drawings accurately and effectively
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently without supervision
