Cashier Job in Dubai

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cashier for our busy store in Dubai. The Cashier will be responsible for processing all customer transactions accurately and efficiently, while providing exceptional customer service. This position offers a salary of 1200 AED per month, and we are willing to consider an immigrant applicant if they meet the necessary requirements.

The ideal candidate must have excellent math skills and the ability to maintain accuracy when handling money. They should also possess strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively. A customer-oriented attitude is essential for success in this role; the Cashier must be able to keep a pleasant demeanor while interacting with customers and responding to complaints or requests.

Responsibilities:
• Greet customers on arrival, answer any questions they may have, and provide assistance as needed
• Process payments accurately by calculating totals and accepting various forms of payment, including cash, credit/debit cards, checks, etc.
• Ensure that all transactions are completed according to company policies
• Manage returns and exchanges with customers
• Provide accurate change when required
• Issue receipts for purchases made by customers
• Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout shift
• Balance cash register at end of shift and submit report to supervisor

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous experience as a cashier or similar position (preferred)
• Ability to handle cash accurately with strong math skills
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining accuracy
• Excellent communication skills with great customer service attitude
