Job Description

Position: Accountant
Location: Sharjah
Salary: 1700 AED

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Accountant to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial statements, and providing accurate and timely financial information to management.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.
• Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences.
• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Document financial transactions by entering account information.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets.
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
• Proven experience as an Accountant (3 years minimum)
• Knowledge of accounting principles/rules/regulations/standards
• Proficient in using MS Office (Excel)
