Accountant – Sharjah, UAE

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Accountant to join our team in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This role offers a salary of 1300 AED per month and we are open to considering immigrant applicants for the position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all accounting duties in accordance to the highest standards of accounting practices and procedures. These duties include, but are not limited to, recording financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports, reconciling accounts and bank statements, preparing balance sheets and income statements, maintaining accounting records such as ledgers and journals, processing invoices, preparing payrolls and managing tax compliance.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least three years of previous experience in the same field. He/she should be detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills; possess strong problem-solving skills; have good interpersonal communication skills; have knowledge of Quickbooks or any other accounting software; have a good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); possess working knowledge of MS Office Suite (especially Excel); be able to work with minimal supervision; have excellent organizational skills; be able to meet deadlines while working under pressure; be reliable and trustworthy.
