Position Title: Merchandiser
Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary: 1500 QAR per month
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective merchandising plans to ensure the promotion of products and services in order to meet organizational objectives. This individual must have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and have an eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies and plans for effective product placement, display and promotion in order to maximize sales opportunities.
• Ensure products are displayed attractively according to store standards and maintain a neat and organized work area.
• Establish relationships with store personnel in order to ensure successful implementation of promotional activities.
• Monitor inventory levels of products on hand and coordinate with vendors for restocking as needed.
• Research competitive market trends for new product ideas, pricing strategies, promotional activities, etc.
• Maintain accurate records of sales figures, customer feedback, etc., in order to analyze performance trends.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum three years of experience in the field of merchandising required. • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written is a must-have requirement. • Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance from management team. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once is essential. • Must be willing to travel as needed throughout the region. • Ability to quickly learn new products/services is preferred but not mandatory.
