Position Title: Welder
Salary: AED 1,100
Location: Sharjah, UAE

We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team in Sharjah. This role requires a person with strong technical and problem-solving skills, who is detail-oriented and able to work independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead position using electric arc welding equipment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams to determine the specific welding requirements
• Select the appropriate tools and equipment needed for the job
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
• Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces together
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Proven experience as welder (minimum 3 years)
• Proven experience with different kinds of metal or plastic
• Must have a valid UAE residence visa
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Attention to detail
