Librarian - Dubai

We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. This position offers a competitive salary of 1600 and the possibility of working with a foreign team.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Librarian in a corporate setting
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or equivalent
• A good knowledge of library catalogs, databases, and digital resource tools
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once
• Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities:
• Organize and oversee the acquisition, cataloging, retrieval, circulation, maintenance, preservation and disposal of library materials including books, periodicals and audio-visual materials.
• Provide reference services to help patrons find the resources they need.
• Develop library displays to promote new acquisitions or specific collections.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all library resources are up-to-date.
• Participate in activities to promote the use of library services within the community.
