Job Description:

We are seeking a Chemist to join our team in Khawr Fakkan. This person will be responsible for performing chemical research and experiments, analyzing results, and interpreting data in order to develop new products or processes. The successful candidate will be expected to prepare laboratory equipment, collect and analyze samples, keep accurate records of experiments, tests, and results, as well as report findings to the team. In addition to conducting laboratory tests, this individual will also be responsible for designing experiments and examining compounds using advanced techniques such as spectrophotometry or chromatography. The Chemist must have the ability to collaborate with other team members in order to identify solutions when problems arise.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred. Some experience in a laboratory setting is preferred but not necessary; we are willing to consider a foreign candidate with minimal experience. Must have strong knowledge of chemical processes and analytical methods; excellent problem-solving skills; strong communication skills; experience using scientific tools such as spectrophotometry or chromatography; ability to work independently as well as part of a team; familiarity with applicable safety regulations and protocols; excellent organizational skills; attention to detail; and excellent mathematical skills. Salary is 1700 AED per month for this position.
