We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of experience in the field of land surveying and should be willing to work in a fast-paced environment. The position carries a salary of 1000 SAR. We are open to considering qualified foreign applicants.

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking measurements and calculations related to the shape, contour, gravitation, location, elevation or dimension of land or land features on or near the earth’s surface for engineering, mapmaking, mining or other purposes using specialized instruments such as: total stations, theodolites and electronic distance measurement equipment. The candidate will also be expected to analyze survey objectives and data; record measurements and directions of survey lines; calculate angles, elevations and distances; prepare sketches or maps; review plans for projects; conduct research related to surveys; monitor project progress; analyze survey data; establish horizontal and vertical control points; verify accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.

The successful applicant should have excellent math skills (particularly trigonometry) as well as an eye for detail. They must also possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and maps. In addition, they need good communication skills in order to work with other professionals such as engineers, architects and cartographers. A valid driver’s license is considered an asset as well as certification from applicable organizations such as OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) or ACSM (American Congress on Surveying & Mapping).
