As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating cranes to lift, move or place heavy objects at construction sites or in other industrial settings. You will need to follow safety procedures at all times and inspect equipment before use to ensure it is in good working condition. You will also need to maintain records of use of lifting machines as well as complete daily paperwork such as maintenance logs, accident reports etc. Additional duties may include assisting other crew members with loading/unloading materials and general site maintenance tasks.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent physical strength and stamina; be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions; possess strong communication skills; have excellent problem-solving skills; be able to follow instructions accurately; possess basic mathematics skills; and demonstrate a commitment to safety protocols at all times. Previous experience as a crane operator is not essential but would be beneficial. A valid driver's license is also required, along with any applicable certifications or licenses related to crane operations (e.g., NCCCO certification).
